Director Shi Qian Attended and Chaired the 2021 Shanghai-Danish Forum on Scientific and Technological Cooperation

On May 20, 2021 the 2021 Shanghai-Danish Forum on Scientific and Technological Cooperation was held in Songjiang, Shanghai. The forum, with the theme of "Innovative Cooperation for the Future", is hosted by Shanghai Association for Science and Technology,Municipality of Aalborg and the Government of Songjiang District, Shanghai, and co-hosted by SISS,Association of Shanghai Science and Technology Institutes, Green Hub Denmark, and Shanghai New Energy Center for Technology Transfer and Industry Promotion. The forum was chaired by Shi Qian, director of our institute, and Ren Ben, researcher of Innovation Policy Research Office, made a summary of the conference.

At the opening ceremony of the forum, Lene Espersen, former Danish Foreign Minister, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Green Hub Denmark. Ma Xingfa, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Association for Science and Technology. Pan Yongjian, Secretary of Party Leadership Group, Executive Vice Chairman and Secondary Inspector of Songjiang District's Science and Technology Association and Science and Technology Commission, attended the ceremony and delivered speeches. During the report session, more than 10 experts and scholars from China and Denmark introduced the latest progress and future prospect of green and low-carbon technology, digital transformation, regional scientific and technological cooperation, etc., which provided countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the international scientific and technological cooperation between Shanghai and Denmark, as well as promoting the transformation and industrialization of scientific and technological achievements between the two places. The forum helps to provide international experience for Shanghai's digital transformation and the first realization of the "double carbon" goal.
