　　On the morning of January 22, 2019, the first issue of the 2019 (the 47th issue) expert forum was held in the 1015 Academic Lecture Hall of our institute. Li Zhengfeng, deputy dean of the School of Social Sciences at Tsinghua University and professor of the Department of Sociology, was invited to give a special report on "Several Issues in the Construction of Scientific Research Integrity". Wang Yingchun, director of the Science and Technology Development Research Center of our institute, presided over the meeting.

　　

　　Professor Li Zhengfeng pointed out that scientific research integrity is an institutional requirement for scientific organization and a public policy issue for the knowledge society. Research Integrity aims to promote the “good governance” of the scientific system, efficiently produce high-quality knowledge and benefit mankind. Professor Li analyzed the new challenges faced in defining "scientific research misconduct" and scientific research integrity, and expounded his own views on how to judge the status quo of China's scientific research integrity construction and solve the outstanding problems currently facing.

　　

　　After the report meeting, the researchers of our institute exchanged discussions with Professor Li on the implementation of policies and regulations, the root causes of scientific misconduct, and the reference of foreign scientific research credit system.

Selected as "Beijing New Century Social Science Theory Talents 100 Project" and "Ministry of Education New Century Excellent Talent Support Program". He has served as a member of the drafting group of the National Medium- and Long-Term Plan for Science and Technology Development (2006-2020), a member of the drafting group of the revised Science and Technology Progress Law of the People's Republic of China, and a member of the expert group of the Research Integrity Office of the Ministry of Science and Technology.
